   Robert – I saw this post and wanted to listen to it on my phone. I’m stunned that you were impacted by the updates. I love your site and get a kick out of the information you deliver.

   You’re not the first person to advise that we need to stop leaning so heavily on Google, but I’m not even certain what other choice we have. It seems everyone has put Google on the analytic/ranking alter.

   I’m also curious to know why some people were impacted so harshly while others were left alone. I guess I shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, but how will we know to be prepared the next time?

     Hello Kim,

     Yes some of my money sites got smashed to bits by the “Penguin”. This Website “Kezanari.com” is not reliant on traffic from Google, so I guess it is some what protected from future Google updates.

     In aswer to your question

     This is the reason why Google SEO is so unpridicatble, no one knows 100% why Google do what they do.

   I can totally relate with you, Robert. What these updates have done make no sense to a lot of us. So many people’s livelihoods have been affected. I have even had to contemplate finding a part-time job to make ends meet until or if I can ever get my sites back on track where they were before.
