During my elementary, high school and college days, every student fears the duty of writing the every week journal required by English teachers; the endless paper work, research paper and essays that professors required us to submit day after day.
Although I love writing and the first career that I wanted to pursue is Journalism, I admit I almost give up on it. Why? It is hard to write, very hard.
Even professionals whether they are businessmen, photojournalists or columnists in a daily broad sheet experienced facing the computer screen groping for words in order for them to start an article.
The Art of Writing for me is forever an everyday process, meaning, even how good or great one is in writing he can in fact improve his style better. Despite my high grades in communication subjects in college, I consider myself a novice; I keep on reminding myself to practice and practice.
With the power of Social Media that is fast becoming a tool in revolutionizing the both oral and written communications both writers and aspiring writers can use this tool in practicing their writing abilities.

Non experienced SEO and content writers can also join different sites hiring people around the world to write for them. Thus, this serves as a ground for them to have experience in writing; the topics assigned to them could be a challenge based on its difficulty level.
Learning New Things
In my case I try to choose a task or an assignment which I am totally unfamiliar with because not only I could learn more about that topic but it pushes me to my limits. But people not only earn through it, social media sites also pay its users by posting Tweets and status updates in their Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts.
Finding Voice In Writing
Writing blogs help the blogger find his “voice in writing”; which style that best suits him reveals the natural writer inside him. Writing tweets on the other hand keep one from formulating too long sentences. It forces the user to be concise and exercise his vocabulary skills in 140 characters. Believe it or not Twitter helps one to become a better writer.
A person is not born with the innate ability to write perfectly and flawlessly, he is made, like steel honed under fire.
Unlike before where writing seems to be a curse for most college students who don’t enjoy it, social media serves as the best tool for us to express ourselves in different positive way. We all not only enjoy it but are beginning to love writing.
I cry when my write ups are rejected but instead of pitying myself I continue to practice. This may be the most difficult thing for many; nevertheless we must remember that we all have the potential to become a writer.
